Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with 20 years of experience. I served on two international counseling teams which provided the background to serve people from different ethnicities. I am well-versed in working with persons of different cultures. I teach local police departments throughout the Metroplex in Critical Incident and Mental Health Orientation trainings. I am a Certified Resiliency Trainer through the FBI National Academy. I served as a Hospice Chaplain for 3 years.

My approach to therapy

My motto is, “reveal the root, expose the lie and heal the wounded spirit.” My clinical expertise includes treating MDD, Bipolar I & II, Schizoaffective, BPD, Dual-diagnosis, and SUDS. I utilize a trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach in therapy and often incorporate CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. I am a certified Revisioning practitioner, a technique that simulates re-attachment for grief resolution and ego-integration.

What you can expect from me

No one should live a life full of shame, rejection, regret, or guilt, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore and live your life in the renewed freedoms you are intended to have, and with joy. During our first session, we will collaboratively come up with a plan addressing your immediate needs and concerns and come up with the necessary tools so that you can take action. Together we will access your own inner wisdom in moving towards your true identity.
