Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Lisa! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Landry Therapy Group, with 18 years of experience helping people through life's difficult seasons. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in social work and have worked in schools, juvenile justice, and private practice. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, and provide LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming care in a safe, judgment-free space. I believe in psycho-education and working on negative core beliefs. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, learn practical tools that actually help, and feel more confident moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment. My approach is warm, straightforward, and collaborative, with a little humor when it helps. Together, we'll look at the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be affecting you today, while also developing practical tools you can use outside of therapy. My goal is to help you understand yourself better, feel more in control, and create meaningful change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you'd like help with—but you don't have to tell me everything all at once. I'll ask questions, answer yours, and we'll begin figuring out what might be most helpful for you. Most importantly, we'll make sure you feel comfortable and that we're a good fit.
