Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert in your own life — my role is to support and guide you as you work toward your goals.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University at Albany in 2012. Since that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress.

I enjoy helping others identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop practical strategies to achieve their personal goals. I take pride in being an active problem-solver and in fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward improving your mental health and overall well-being, I would be honored to partner with you on that journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, person-centered, and collaborative. I believe each individual has the inner strength and capacity for growth, and my role is to help you uncover and build upon those strengths. Together, we’ll identify your goals, explore the challenges you’re facing, and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and empowered to move toward greater well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. I’ll spend time learning about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This helps me gain a full picture of your experiences so I can better support your individual needs. I also place great importance on building trust and rapport — creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and comfortable being open and honest. Together, we’ll begin to set goals and explore the steps toward positive change at a pace that feels right for you.
