Great to meet you!

I’m an LCSW-S with 20+ years of experience specializing in trauma and PTSD, sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, and foster/adoptive families, as well as parenting, anxiety, depression, and difficult relationships. I’m trained in EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT, but I promise therapy with me isn’t worksheets and someone repeatedly asking, “How does that make you feel?” My style is warm, solution focused, and sprinkled with humor because life is hard enough already.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert on your life, and my job is to help you make sense of the pieces and figure out what comes next. We’ll look at what’s working, what isn’t, and develop realistic steps toward the changes you want to see. I won’t just nod and take notes; expect genuine conversation, thoughtful questions, gentle challenges, and someone firmly in your corner.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and figuring out what brought us together! We’ll talk about what’s going on, what you’d like to be different, and what you hope to get from therapy, without expecting you to unpack your entire life story in 50 minutes. Most importantly, we’ll make sure this feels like a good fit and start deciding together where we go from here.
