Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with five years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges, with the last three years focused on trauma and substance use recovery. Since earning my Master of Social Work, I have remained passionate about creating a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space for individuals, particularly those within Black and Brown communities and those who identify as LGBTQIA+.

My primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on building psychological flexibility, identifying your core values, and learning to move forward even when life feels uncomfortable or uncertain. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which offers tools to process difficult past experiences and understand how they may be influencing your present.

I recognize that healing is not linear and there is no one foolproof approach to therapy. I strive to create a collaborative, compassionate, and empowering therapeutic relationship where your identity, lived experiences, and personal goals are honored. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin. Wherever you are is where we can begin.

My approach to therapy

Drawing from my background in supporting substance use recovery, I bring a steady resilience-focused lens that honors your inner agency and capacity for growth. My goal is to make therapy feel like a safe, empowering space where you are truly seen, supported, and equipped to move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll discuss what’s on your mind, explore your goals, and see if we’re a good fit. I will help guide the conversation with supportive questions so you feel heard and understood without any pressure. You’ll leave with clarity on our next steps and initial ideas for working toward positive change.
