Great to meet you!

My volunteer work with the International Commission for Human Rights and Religious Freedom has deepened my appreciation for the ways culture, faith, identity, discrimination, trauma, and lived experiences shape how people understand themselves and navigate the world around them. This experience has strengthened my commitment to approaching every client with curiosity, cultural humility, and respect for their unique values, beliefs, and experiences.

Throughout my clinical work, I have supported individuals experiencing suicidal crises, chronic pain and illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, financial stressors, life transitions, and complex decisions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based, helping clients build self-understanding, develop effective coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based approaches within a trusting and collaborative relationship tailored to your needs. I welcome honest feedback because your experience matters! Together, we will make sure therapy continues to support your goals and remains meaningful, responsive, and effective.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, your history, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We'll discuss your goals, identify any barriers that may be standing in your way, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs. You'll also have plenty of time to ask questions so we can determine whether we're a good fit to work together. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear sense of where we'll go from there.
