Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Psychologist in Central Florida. I conduct individual and family therapy for adults navigating life transitions. I specialize in working with identity development, interpersonal dynamics, depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, eating disorders, and body image distress. I also have extensive research in racial identity development and working to assist in managing race-based traumatic stress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

At the heart of my approach, I value therapy as collaborative, working with you toward change. Through an empowering, holistic, relational-cultural approach, I offer a safe space for transformative, affirming care. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic and EMDR therapy. Still, my approach is integrative, rooted in person-centered and insight-oriented approaches.

What you can expect from our first session

Sometimes, the hardest part is walking through the door. And now, you are not alone. I value compassion, honesty, and understanding my clients' needs. Together, we will work towards increasing self-understanding, learning adaptive coping skills through evidence-based treatments, and achieving therapeutic goals. My goal is to foster resilience and greater overall well-being.

I am accepting new clients, and when ready, I welcome you to schedule a consultation or first session through the portal.
