Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Christina, a licensed therapist. I know starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you're used to having it all together. I was drawn to this work because I enjoy being able to help clients find newer meaning in their experiences as well as the voice they've had all along. Many of the people I work with are the ones everyone else relies on: the responsible, capable, "strong" friends or family members who secretly feel anxious, exhausted, or quietly overwhelmed. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me catching up on plant chores, looking for new cozy games to play, or spending time with my dog, Zuko. I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can finally put your own needs first.

My approach to therapy

In our first session, we’ll take things at your pace. We'll simply focus on understanding what brought you to therapy and what you most hope to achieve. You absolutely don’t need to have “the right words” or a perfect plan when we start - just bringing your honesty and curiosity is more than enough. Drawing on my background in community mental health and in-patient facilities, I know how to create a steady, respectful space for you to heal. I care deeply about helping you reconnect with your sense of self, and I'll be right beside you as we explore meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brought you to therapy and what you most hope to achieve. There’s no need to have “the right words” or a clear plan when you start, curiosity and honesty are more than enough.

You can expect a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard and respected. Many clients leave the first session with greater clarity about their challenges, and relief from being genuinely understood. From there, we’ll build a plan together that feels achievable and empowering.
