Great to meet you!

I earned my BSN from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2019 and my MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2025 from La Salle University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I spent seven years working as an Emergency Department RN, including at a Level I Trauma Center, where I developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. I’ve always been drawn to psychology and the ways our mental and physical health are deeply connected. As a PMHNP at Headway, I’m excited to bring together my emergency and psychiatric experience to provide compassionate, personalized care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I am dedicated to getting to know each patient as an individual and working together to develop practical, solution-focused goals that fit their unique needs and lifestyle. My background in emergency nursing and psychiatric mental health allows me to provide trauma-informed care while considering both the mental and physical aspects of well-being. My goal is to create a safe space where patients feel empowered to take meaningful steps toward feeling and living better.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your background, experiences, current concerns, and what brought you to care. I aim to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. I do not prescribe medication during the initial visit, as I believe in taking a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to your care. Before prescribing medication, I require routine bloodwork to help identify any underlying medical factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and to ensure that any treatment we choose is safe, appropriate, and individualized.
