Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Christina, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I have 30 years of post graduate experience and 5 years of private practice experience. With a background in working with adolescents dealing with trauma and family issues, as well as veterans both during and after my graduate studies, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice. I've also worked extensively with the general population in psychiatric settings, which has further honed my skills and understanding of diverse mental health needs. Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), which underscores my commitment to providing specialized care for those affected by trauma.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a strengths-based perspective when working with clients and I help them to realize their resilience. My goal is to provide enough guidance and support to clients until they are able to realize the strength in themselves and are able to move to less reliance and more independence.

What you can expect from me

Clients will be able to describe to me in the first session what areas they are looking for help with. From here clients will be provided with a description of my approach to these areas and they are able to determine if working together would be beneficial for them. The therapist to client relationship is so crucial to a client's success so it is most important that the client feels that it is a good fit.
