Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Christina and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Killeen, Texas. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I also have a certificate in Chemical Dependency and Addiction. I grew up as a military dependent and later became a military spouse. I am familiar with military culture and the stresses that being in the military can put on those individuals who are serving plus their families.

My approach to therapy

Growing up in a diverse military culture has helped me to be an open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, patient, and trauma-informed therapist. I also believe that everyone can benefit from counseling because sometimes life just gets too hard and we need a safe space to retreat, relax and regroup. I have worked with many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. I would love to help you to navigate through your struggles as well.

What you can expect from me

I have a positive outlook on life and I enjoy helping others find the positive in their lives. My biggest strengths are listening, being warm, bringing calm, understanding, validation, and empowerment. In addition, I strive to work together to navigate the difficult terrain of your mental health concerns, to reach your goals of well-being.
