Great to meet you!

I have been an educator for 19 years and a professional school counselor for the last nine years. I am licensed professional counselor.

My experiences in schools and non-profits have allowed me to help, guide, and support those who have experienced different traumas, such as abuse, divorce/separation, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, aggression, behavior concerns, school issues, grief/loss, and others.

My approach to therapy

I am a trauma-informed, client-centered therapist with years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. My specialty is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

I believe in the therapeutic power of play and see play as a child’s language with which they process life’s struggles. I have worked with clients as young as five years old, adults, and families.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about helping people through life’s ups and downs and building the skills needed to cope with issues that may be causing problems in their lives. I plan to provide a safe environment, without judgment, and full of acceptance during client sessions. I strive to meet my clients where they are and help them meet their goals.
