Great to meet you!

I have worked with children my entire life, but most recently I have work professionally in mental health with children and teens (age 2-19). I started working with young children in treatment foster-care and in 2013, teens in the juvenile court system . The past 7 years I have provided mental health services in the school setting.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that people communicate and learn best through the activities they are passionate about. I am client centered and meet your child where they are. This might be through music, art, film, play, or storytelling. All aspect can be used to more effectively communicate and work with your child.

What you can expect from our first session

If you know what it is like to watch your child struggle with an issue and not have the words to fix it, or have seen the relationship with your teen suffer while you try to help them navigate adolescence, I can help. Together we can find a way forward where you can enjoy being together again instead of feeling shut out or helpless in understanding their problems.
