Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you find yourself stuck in the same thoughts, emotions, or relationship patterns, even when you're trying your best to move forward. I offer a therapeutic space where we can slow down, make sense of those patterns, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and earned my Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. My clinical experience includes working in community mental health programs and private practice, where I have supported teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life's unexpected transitions.

These experiences have reinforced my belief that people are incredibly resilient. I believe lasting change begins with understanding the experiences that have shaped you, recognizing patterns that may no longer serve you, and developing new ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach to therapy

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I'm interested in understanding the bigger picture—how your relationships, life experiences, and beliefs about yourself have shaped the way you experience the present. Together, we'll explore the patterns that continue to show up in your life and work toward creating meaningful, lasting change.

I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences, and therapy offers an opportunity to understand those experiences with curiosity rather than self-criticism.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I tailor our work to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I integrate attachment-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused approaches, and EMDR to help you better understand how past experiences may be influencing the present. Along the way, we'll develop practical strategies that support healing, strengthen relationships, and help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to prepare for our first session or know exactly what to say. We'll start where you are and work together from there.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We'll talk about what's been feeling difficult, what's important to you, and what you're hoping will be different as a result of therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there's no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin.

Building trust takes time, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll identify your goals and develop a plan that reflects what you hope to gain from therapy.
