Great to meet you!

Do you ever feel like you’ve lost your voice, struggle to trust yourself, or find yourself repeating the same patterns in your relationships? Life can certainly get challenging, especially when you're trying to manage difficult emotions, work through past experiences, or figure out how to move forward. I believe everyone possesses personal strengths that can be drawn upon to improve their situation, even when those strengths are hard to see for yourself. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use concerns, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to help you build yourself back up, find your voice, and become your own guiding light so you can live more authentically and feel happier in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to your specific needs because a cookie-cutter approach simply isn't effective. Together, we'll explore your history, attachment patterns, and the experiences that may be influencing how you see yourself and relate to others today. My approach draws on your existing strengths while incorporating strategies that can help you manage difficult emotions, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, substance use, or recurring relationship patterns, my goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and learn to show up differently for yourself and your loved ones. Remember, you are the expert on yourself, and our work will reflect your unique experiences and goals.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to handling things on your own. Our first session is an opportunity to talk about what's been weighing on you, what you'd like to change, and what you hope life could look like moving forward. I'll take time to understand your experiences, listen to what matters most to you, and begin identifying the strengths you can build on. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll work together to identify meaningful goals and determine how therapy can help you move toward healthier relationships, greater self-trust, and a more fulfilling life. If you're ready to take that first step, book a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect and see if we're a good fit.
