Great to meet you!

I believe that every person has strengths, resilience, and the ability to create meaningful change, regardless of the challenges they may be facing. My role is to provide a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your journey.

My background in mental health counseling, substance use counseling, and social work allows me to approach treatment from a holistic perspective. I recognize that each person’s experiences, values, culture, and goals are unique, and I tailor our work together to meet your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, substance use, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to meet you where you are. Together, we will explore your goals, develop effective coping strategies, and build on your existing strengths at a pace that feels right for you.

Above all, I value authenticity, empathy, and genuine human connection. I understand that seeking support can be difficult, and I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Therapy is a partnership, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and living a life that reflects your values.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, helping you identify what is already working while building practical skills to overcome obstacles and move toward the life you want. I integrate evidence-based interventions, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support lasting growth and positive change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting, supportive relationship.

We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
