Great to meet you!

Life can change in an instant — through injury, diagnosis, loss or unexpected life events- leaving you overwhelmed, unsteady, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you are directly experiencing a major life change or supporting someone who is, you may be navigating uncertainty, grief, and a life that no longer feels the same. Moving forward is not about "getting over it." It's about gently finding your footing within circumstances that you did not choose. I work with individuals and family caregivers navigating unfamiliar emotional terrain and rebuilding a sense of self and stability.

My approach to therapy

My work focuses on adjustment to injury, medical diagnosis, disability, and other significant life changes that impact identity, relationships, and daily life. I use a trauma- informed and grief-informed approach integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support coping, emotional clarity, and steadier sense of direction over time. As a spouse to someone who has sustained a life-changing injury, I have a unique personal and professional understanding of navigating unfamiliar emotional terrain that comes with life- changing events. And together, we’ll explore your unique journey and build a plan to explore adaptive skills that support coping and rediscovering hope the midst of overwhelming change.

What you can expect from me

Our intake session is a chance for you to set down what you've been carrying at a pace that feels comfortable. You'll get a sense of my warm, steady, and collaborative style. You can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of what therapy with me will look like, what we'll focus on, and one or two initial strategies or areas of insight to help you start feeling more supported right away.

It can feel daunting to know where to start and you do not need a single defining event to reach out. If life feels heavy, uncertain, or hard to manage, support can help. I offer a free 15-min consultation for you to share what's on your mind and explore how I can support. Your story and your pain matters, and you do not need to carry this alone.
