Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am a licensed psychologist in Texas and Iowa with over 15 years of experience providing therapy to adults across a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. My work has included supporting clients with concerns such as anxiety, relationship challenges, occupational stress, life transitions, identity exploration, assisted reproductive issues, and the unique complexities of young adulthood. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe to be your authentic self, and I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are in your journey. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you navigate growth and change, and while I take this work seriously, I also believe there is space for humor, lightness, and moments of brevity when appropriate.

My approach to therapy

My style includes a strengths-based approach, helping you identify and draw upon your existing skills, resources, and inner resilience to promote growth and positive change. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with the goal of identifying and shifting unhelpful patterns so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll have a collaborative conversation focused on what brought you to therapy, recognizing that taking this first step can feel challenging. We’ll discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and touch on any past experiences that feel important to share. Above all, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported, while we also explore whether we’re a good fit to work together.
