Great to meet you!

Through my years of working in human services and being a licensed clinical social worker, I have provided support to many people, all having unique stories and unique needs. I have worked in a variety of settings, from disability services, smaller clinics in the Boston area, and also in private practice. I have worked with people with mood disorders, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, attention deficits, and substance abuse. I tailor treatment to meet individual needs and preferences. I am versed in CBT, DBT, various mindfulness modalities, and internal family systems.

My approach to therapy

I approach providing care as entering into an agreement to work towards your specific goals with your timelines and comfort level. Individuals are always in the driver's seat, with their therapist being a guide and cheerleader. I provide knowledge, encouragement, motivation, accountability if needed, and overall support to meet your treatment objectives collaboratively.

What you can expect from me

I work with clients to develop treatment goals that are manageable and attainable. They are also able to track to show us both progress as treatment moves forward. Goals can always be modified as life changes or different issues present themself. We will work together to make the therapeutic experience positive, worthwhile, and transformative while being supportive and enjoyable, ideally.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. Therapy is a process, and we’ll continue to build our work together over time. It’s completely normal to feel nervous about your first appointment. We’ll take it one step at a time, and I’m here to guide you through each step of the process.
