Great to meet you!

Hi- I'm glad you're here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focusing on anxiety and self-compassion for Millennial and Gen Z women.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, my intention is to co-create a space that allows you to reflect, ground, and pursue a life that feels full and in line with your own values. My hope is that therapy is a safe haven, a place where you feel cared for. Therapy begins with you- what you are looking for and what you are showing up with. I have areas of expertise around anxiety, self-compassion, overwhelm, academic stressors, and body image distress. I tend to take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy that focuses on your unique self, pulling from treatment modalities like feminist therapies, mindfulness based treatments, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

First we'll have a quick phone call so I can answer any questions and we can introduce ourselves. In our first session, we'll get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit. In our following sessions, we'll explore your needs with warmth and compassionate attention. Your agency is paramount. I will offer reflections, tools and resources (no gatekeeping here!) as we move towards a place of authentic wellbeing.
