Great to meet you!

As a fully licensed mental health counselor (LMHC-013648) with over five years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals, adults, couples and families improve their mental wellbeing. My journey began after earning my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. During my post-graduate practice, I worked with children and adolescents, which I used my experiences to build on my skills to help them and their families navigate through life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is understanding the individual as a part of a larger system. When working with individuals, couples, or families, I focus on understanding the systemic factors that may be impacting their lives. By exploring family history through genograms, I am able to gain insight into family dynamics and relationships. This process allows me to develop a better understanding of the individual's needs and the ways in which they may be interconnected with their family system.

What you can expect from me

During the counseling process, you have the right to ask questions, and I will explain my approach and methods in greater detail. I believe in a collaborative approach where clients and I work together, to establish goals and to address specific presenting problems.
