Great to meet you!

You may have spent years being the person who keeps going, even when anxiety, stress, or experiences from the past are taking more out of you than anyone realizes. Depression can make it difficult to feel like yourself, trauma may continue affecting your emotions and relationships, or a major life transition can leave you questioning what you need now. I provide virtual individual therapy for adults and older adults throughout Florida, with a focus on anxiety, depression, stress management, women’s issues, and trauma. I also support clients navigating PTSD, panic attacks, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and ADHD when these experiences are connected to the challenges bringing them to therapy. With more than 20 years of experience as a mental health counselor, my goal is to offer a warm, affirming space where you can understand what is keeping you stuck, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful change that fits the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing involves more than learning how to manage symptoms—we also need to understand what those symptoms may be trying to tell us. Anxiety, depression, chronic stress, or trauma may be the most visible part of what you are experiencing, while grief, relationship patterns, women’s issues, panic, or earlier experiences can add important layers. We’ll explore those connections with curiosity and without judgment while keeping your current needs and goals at the center of our work. I may use EMDR to help you process painful or distressing experiences that continue to feel present, Internal Family Systems to better understand the different parts of yourself and the roles they have learned to play, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify thought and behavior patterns that may be reinforcing distress. My approach is collaborative and individualized, balancing deeper emotional work with practical strategies you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

You don’t have to come into therapy knowing exactly what needs to change or feeling ready to tell your whole story at once. During our first few sessions, we’ll talk about what brought you in, what has been most difficult lately, what you have already tried, and what you hope could feel different. Together, we’ll identify goals and determine which areas make the most sense to focus on first. You can expect me to be warm, affirming, and inquisitive—I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you notice connections that may have been difficult to see on your own. Progress might mean feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety, reconnecting with yourself during depression, responding differently to stress, processing trauma or grief, feeling more secure in relationships, or navigating a new season of life with greater clarity. My hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself more deeply while feeling increasingly confident in your ability to move forward.
