Great to meet you!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, identity development, and work/relationship stress. I earned my bachelor's degree in University Studies with a concentration in Race, Gender, and Ethnicity from Texas A&M University and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from CBT, trauma-informed, person-centered, narrative, and other evidence-based approaches based on each client's needs. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and solution-oriented, and I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling overly formal or clinical. I also appreciate using humor when it fits because sometimes being able to laugh in therapy is part of feeling comfortable enough to do the harder work!
