Great to meet you!

I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, and substance use disorders. During initial sessions, we will discuss the specific issues which brought you to treatment, as well as contributing factors, and create a plan to help you get back to quality of life. Clients usually see some lifting of symptom within the first month with sustained improvement thereafter.

My approach to therapy

I often use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness in my practice to help you to learn how your thoughts affect emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you to uncover core beliefs and core stories which may be barriers. You'll learn to challenge your thoughts and develop more accurate, affirming thoughts to bring about more positive feelings and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you
