Great to meet you!

Earning your trust and helping you establish a secure, empowering baseline for your care is an honor I hold deeply. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor dedicated to helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. With six years of clinical experience since earning my Master's in Counseling from Regis University, I am fiercely committed to supporting adults and families navigating complex emotional landscapes. In addition to treating chronic health conditions, end-of-life care, and substance use, I have a special interest in supporting those considering leaving high-control groups and abusive relationships. Offering telehealth sessions in both English and Spanish, my goal is to provide a grounded, inclusive space where you can rediscover your resilience.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a dynamic and collaborative process, and I believe that genuine emotional growth flourishes when we balance evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. I work with clients from a place of caring, authenticity, and profound recognition of our shared humanity. I utilize a heavily strengths-based approach to therapy, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based methods, and Emotion-Focused Therapy to best serve your unique needs. By integrating these modalities, we will outline tangible goals to empower you, building off your existing skills and providing practical tools for everyday situations so you can face the future with renewed confidence.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support takes immense courage, and my hope is that our initial telehealth meeting acts as a quiet refuge where you can safely step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. During our first session, I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental environment right from the start. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and the specific challenges that brought you to therapy at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. My primary focus is ensuring you feel fully heard and validated as we collaboratively design a clear roadmap tailored entirely to your client-centered goals, laying a safe foundation for the therapeutic work ahead.
