Great to meet you!

Hello,

My name is Dr. Christine Gomes and I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist for the past 9.5 years. I received my doctoral degree from Rosemead School of Psychology in Los Angeles County, California. While I was in training, I worked with a wide variety of clients in different settings. In recent years, I have focused heavily on trauma-focused therapy techniques.

My approach to therapy

I love providing a space for my clients to share. I have noticed that offering clients compassion and understanding is, in itself, healing for them. I also love providing my clients with new insights and practical strategies to improve their mental well-being as quickly as possible.

What you can expect from me

My goal as a therapist is to come along side my clients and provide them with compassion, understanding and positive regard. My goal is for clients to use the therapy experience as a jumping off point for developing their own self-compassion and their innate ability to heal.
