LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and TTS (Tobacco Treatment Specialist) with experience in: 1. Clinical counseling services/therapeutic interventions (individual, family or group) in outpatient and inpatient settings, 2. Administration of diagnostic psychological evaluations, including career-related assessments, 3. Development of treatment plans; 4. Tobacco treatment counseling. Clinical areas of interest include, but are not exclusive to: PTSD, anxiety, suicide prevention, bipolar disorder, depression, nicotine addiction; experience working with children, adolescents, adults, including U.S. veterans (combat and non-combat).
Career counseling & vocational assessments; depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship and adjustment issues--clinical research experience at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center/Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX (nicotine & stimulant addiction, Bipolar Disorder). Tobacco Treatment Specialist, TTS, certification from MD Anderson (Oct., 2018).
