Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Christine. I work with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and women's issues. I draw from an extensive background of working with diverse clients and mental health presentations in community-based settings. I studied counseling at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, where I gained the clinical skills of therapy alongside growing personally in integrity and humanity as a counselor.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a relational and interpersonal frame in counseling, and draw from the lenses of; psychoanalytic/psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based, solutions-focused, client-centered, and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness principles. My work combines going deeper beneath the surface to explore experiences that contribute to the way you show up in the world and in relationships, as well as bringing in skills for coping and growth.

What you can expect from me

I hope that you will feel safe, warm, and welcomed in our first session. Because I believe that so much of the power of counseling comes in the counselor-client relationship, we will definitely lay the foundation of building relationship and trust. I bring deep curiosity and insight to counseling, as well as present listening, and will bring that into our first session as we begin our work together!
