Hi Am Christine I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been in the field for over 12 years. I am originally from a tiny island in the Caribbean. I have worked with Children and families who have been involved in the foster care system.
I love using a client centered approach to treatment, focusing on one's strengths and support systems to help achieve their maximum potential.
Together my clients and I work on decreasing symptoms, after each session they have a technique to practice for the upcoming week. My approach to treatment is telling clients, "you will help me help you reach your goals", thus focusing on empowerment and individual strengths.
