Great to meet you!

My name is Christine, but you can call me CC. I am here to help you navigate the times you may be struggling most with and see you aren't a burden or different just because you aren't at your best. Over the past five years of my practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, it has been a profound privilege to help children, adolescents, adults, and seniors establish a safe, empowering baseline for their care. I earned my Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, and my professional background is deeply rooted in Crisis Intervention, Hospice Care, Special Education, and Community Outpatient Services. I specialize in supporting individuals through grief, loss, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and end-of-life care. Outside of the therapy room, I am a family woman who loves being active, cooking, spending time with my loved ones, reading, and volunteering my time coaching children of all levels. I want to help you see the beauty you have within yourself and work towards your goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth happens when we balance rigorous, evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. I meet clients where they are and utilize Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Crisis Intervention. By blending these clinical tools with Strength-Based and Solution-Focused strategies, we will outline tangible goals to ensure our therapeutic work translates into meaningful progress in your daily life. Whether we are navigating the complexities of profound grief and loss or addressing cultural and ethnic issues, my priority is to provide a grounded, supportive framework. I tailor our treatment to your unique needs, helping you process difficult experiences and build practical coping skills so that you can move forward with resilience and hope.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support takes immense courage, and my hope is that our initial telehealth meeting acts as a quiet refuge where you can safely step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. I have been known to be inviting, honest, and nonjudgmental when I meet with my clients, and I strive to cultivate a calm environment right from the start. You can expect a time to explain who you are and work on goals you would like to achieve. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and current challenges at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. I like to set expectations for services and understand what you are looking for as well, ensuring you feel completely heard and supported as we collaboratively design a clear roadmap for your healing journey. I look forward to working with you and sharing a space where you feel truly comfortable.
