Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Christine. I became a nurse practitioner because I wanted to offer more than rushed, one-time care. After years in urgent care, I saw how often mental health was treated as an afterthought, and I knew people deserved better.

Today, I provide psychiatric medication management for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions that are disrupting daily life. My goal is not just to prescribe medication, but to help you feel stable and supported over time.

I take time to understand how you are really doing, from your sleep and stress levels to how work and daily life are being affected. We keep adjusting the plan until it is working for you.

As someone who came to this country from Africa, I understand what it can feel like to navigate systems that were not built with you in mind. That experience shapes how I practice. I believe psychiatric care should be honest, respectful, and tailored to the individual.

My approach to therapy

During the initial evaluation, I take time to understand your symptoms, history, past treatment, and goals so we can build a plan that fits your needs.

Follow-up visits are focused on what is actually changing in your day-to-day life. We look at how the medication is working, whether anything needs to be adjusted, and what additional support may help. When appropriate, I coordinate care with your therapist or other providers.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Every person brings a different history, different challenges, and different goals. My role is to find an approach that works for you and keep refining it as needed.

What you can expect from me

You can expect thoughtful, attentive care and a provider who takes your concerns seriously. I spent years seeing people at some of their hardest moments, and that experience taught me how important it is to have a real plan and someone who is paying attention.

What I find most meaningful is helping people move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling more stable, clear, and hopeful. I also know that representation matters. My lived experience, including building a life in a new country and learning to navigate unfamiliar systems, informs the way I show up for my patients.

My goal is to provide care that feels collaborative, respectful, and grounded in what will truly help you feel better.
