Great to meet you!

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is acknowledge that we need support.

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I earned my bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and my master's degree from Fordham University, with additional postgraduate training through the Psychoanalytic Center of Northern New Jersey.

My professional experience spans a variety of settings, including schools, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient mental health services. This diverse background has provided me with extensive clinical experience and a well-rounded perspective, allowing me to effectively support individuals facing a wide range of challenges and life circumstances.

While I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine, trusting relationship where clients feel seen, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I have over 15 years of experience as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, Certified Trauma Professional, and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate life's challenges, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we identify practical solutions to stressful situations, build on personal strengths, and work toward improved emotional well-being. My goal is to help clients feel more balanced, resilient, and empowered, with a greater overall sense of fulfillment and contentment in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I take time to gently explore what has brought my clients to therapy and what they hope to gain from the experience. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories and beginning to build trust. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we start wherever the client is in their journey. From there, we move forward at a pace that feels comfortable, getting to know one another and working together toward meaningful growth and change.
