Great to meet you!

Whether you're a parent worried about your child's emotional well-being, a teen feeling overwhelmed by school or relationships, or an adult navigating life's challenges, therapy can provide a place to better understand what's happening and find a way forward. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, trauma, and everyday stress. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by situations that seem to keep repeating, unsure of how to help themselves or the people they love.

My approach to therapy

With 18 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor and nearly two decades as an elementary school counselor, I bring extensive experience supporting children with intensive behavioral and mental health needs while partnering closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of how emotional, behavioral, academic, and family stressors influence one another. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative, helping clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence as they navigate life's challenges

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a calm, welcoming space where they feel heard and supported. I use a person‐centered approach, validating each client’s perspective and meeting them exactly where they are. During the first session, we explore what brings them in, identify immediate stressors, and begin building a foundation for positive coping skills. I often use cognitive‐behavioral strategies to help clients understand patterns in their thoughts and behaviors. My goal is to act as a mirror—helping clients see what needs attention so they can move toward greater peace of mind, resilience, and confidence.
