Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) with 18 years of counseling experience and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. I support adults from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, and the effects of emotional abuse. My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized.

My approach to therapy

I draw from person-centered, humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to meet each client where they are. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, gain insight, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and welcomed as we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the concerns or challenges you’re experiencing, and your goals for treatment, while also discussing relevant symptoms and previous treatment experiences. I’ll take time to answer any questions you may have and address any concerns about the therapy process. Most importantly, this first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a trusting, collaborative relationship and determine how I can best support you on your journey.
