Great to meet you!

I’ve worked in the behavioral health space since 2005, primarily in community-based non-profit organizations. I spent many years as a direct service clinician before transitioning into supervisory and managerial roles. From 2005-2013, I worked with low-income adults experiencing barriers to self-sufficiency, including serious mental illness, addiction, domestic violence, and trauma. From 2014-2021, I worked with the elder population navigating aging-related transitions such as retirement, grief and loss, chronic illness, and shifting care responsibilities. I opened my private therapy practice in 2021.

I am a neurodivergence and trauma-informed therapist. I view mental health through a holistic lens, and gravitate toward education that embraces the diversity of human experience. I believe that environmental and other external factors (sensory experience, cultural norms and values, social structures, and close relationships) are crucial to shaping and understanding our internal landscape.

I am a Certified Autism Specialist (2025) and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment specialist (2023). I have a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strength-based and client-centered. I believe that growth is not linear, and that our greatest leaps happen when we are able to change perspective, shed labels, and gain confidence in our own self-expression.

Traditional talk therapy does not work for everyone. I invite clients to explore various ways of expression, and can incorporate expressive arts and nature into our work.

I specialize in anxiety, neurodivergence, and older adults.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is that you will emerge from therapy feeling safe, seen, and understood. You get to define what healing looks like for you. I will create the safe and supportive space for you to grow.
