Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Christine! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP). I firmly believe that every person is doing the very best they can at any given moment with the knowledge and skills they have at the time, and until we know better, we can’t expect ourselves to do better. Thus, I believe that we are all capable of learning and implementing healthier, more effective ways of doing things, and I want to be there to guide you through the process of becoming the very best version of yourself. I have experience working with people of varying ages from 18-90. My experience includes working with people who have trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, those who struggle with managing behaviors, and regulating emotions. I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is key to empowerment and achieving successful outcomes.

My approach to therapy

My approaches to treatment typically include aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and solution-focused approaches; however, your treatment will be individualized, so the modalities we use will reflect your needs. I am open, encouraging, empathetic, and direct as a therapist. I strive to foster a relationship with my clients that allows them to feel safe and secure to be their authentic selves, without judgment, and to grow. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your therapeutic journey!

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away practical coping tools they can begin using immediately, along with a deeper sense of self-awareness and a better understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Sessions provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel validated and heard, while also learning skills that foster long-term growth, such as emotional regulation, problem-solving, and healthier communication. Each session is designed to help clients leave with a sense of progress—whether through small steps forward or meaningful insights—that supports them in moving closer to their personal goals.
