Great to meet you!

After years of working in other fields I graduated from the University of Chicago School of Social Work. I work with adults navigating serious mental health conditions, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identities, and relationship concerns. My experience in community mental health has allowed me to support individuals living with bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and substance use. I also bring lived experience to my work, which helps me approach therapy with authenticity, empathy, and the understanding that healing looks different for everyone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, affirming, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I prioritize an honest, curious, and empathetic space of healing. I believe that healing and recovery is a process of self discovery. In my work, I like to use CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing but find that each person requires a different palette of approaches.

What you can expect from me

Our early sessions are and opportunity for us to get to know one another. Together we will develop an understanding of your strengths and focus areas for our sessions that reflect your values and what you're hoping to build. If person-centered therapy appeals to you, do not hesitate to reach out for a consultation!
