Great to meet you!

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a Master's in Social Work from the University of South Florida. After a successful career in the corporate world, I chose to pursue a second career dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. As a therapist, I have worked extensively with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, relationship difficulties, and parenting struggles. I approach therapy with an empathic, affirming, solution-oriented, and direct style, focused on empowering clients to create lasting, positive change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

Engaging in therapy can be a powerful step toward personal growth and healing, and the truth is, we all need a little help at one point or another. Life brings challenges that can feel overwhelming, and therapy provides a safe, supportive space to navigate those moments. In my practice, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs and goals. Depending on the issue and how the client presents, I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Supportive Therapy, or Solution-Focused Therapy. For clients dealing with more intensive trauma, I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and resolve traumatic experiences efficiently and effectively. My goal is to meet clients where they are, offering the right tools and strategies to help them move forward with confidence and clarity.

What you can expect from me

I understand that deciding to begin therapy can be a difficult and deeply personal decision—but it’s one that can lead to lasting, meaningful change. Therapy has the power to improve your life and help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. In our work together, I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel not only heard but truly understood. Your comfort and trust in the process are everything. While I will offer suggestions and guidance based on your needs, you will always set the pace and choose the direction of your growth. At times, I will hold you accountable, but always with compassion and grace—just as you should extend grace to yourself. Progress, not perfection, is the goal, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
