Great to meet you!

Shalom!

I have been a psychotherapist for 15 years with a doctoral degree in Counseling. My specific area of research and expertise lies in the intersection of ancient, Christian spirituality and evidenced-based psychotherapy. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, and helping individuals from the LGBT community integrate their faith and sexual identities.

My approach to therapy

My patients come to me with real-world problems and a genuine desire to heal and recover from their related emotional and psycho-spiritual injuries. They may suffer from symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, and/or substance use. I provide guidance, support and therapy to assist individuals coping with a variety of circumstances and often overwhelming stressors impacting their mental health, quality of life, and sense of meaning.

What you can expect from me

My approach to therapy is grounded in both evidence-based treatment and the wisdom of saints and sages throughout more than 2,000 years since the Incarnation. Patients often come to therapy seeking relief from anxiety, depression, loneliness, substance use, or the effects of prolonged stress and life disruption. I provide guidance, structure, and evidence-based therapeutic support to help individuals better understand their experiences, reduce distress, and develop effective coping strategies. For those with existential and/or grief struggles, I love integrating faith and spirituality into our work together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to support clients as they work toward greater balance, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose and well-being.
