In many cases I use both Cognitive Behavioral and Psychoanalytic Therapies. First, we typically explore the reason(s) that brought you to therapy, then we will decide the most appropriate treatment goals together. Many times while using CBT, you will learn to challenge your thought patterns; recognize them as they're happening, and challenge them in an effort to make yourself feel better moving forward. Psychoanalytic therapy helps individuals explore the unconscious mind to uncover underlying patterns, unresolved conflicts, and past experiences that may influence current behavior. By gaining insight into these deeper issues, clients can achieve emotional growth, improved self-awareness, and healthier relationships.
