Great to meet you!

Christopher R. Daniel is a Licensed Professional Counselor from Houston, Tx. He have over a decade of experience as a secondary school counselor. The majority of his years in education have been devoted to counseling at-risk children, facilitating change in the lives of them and their families. Christopher's primary goal is to bring clients to the desired peace needed to balance life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

Christopher’s technique embodies an eclectic form of therapy that is firmly rooted in existentialist theory. Any desired change must happen in the here and now. Life deals bad hands at times and the only factors under our control is how we choose to deal with the cards given. Every client is evaluated to determine the best practice to address individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Placing high emphasis on the here and now removes the weight of trying to correct the past and control the future. It is important to analyze where we have come from to identify an issue's point of origin. However, understanding and embracing where we are needs to be the focus of any therapeutic relationship. Practicing empathy in life allows clarity in learning the necessities to move forward. Life is based in choices and the perception of those choices.

Christopher possesses an extensive background in helping with anxiety, social skills, anger management, self-esteem, socialization, depression, and physical and emotional changes.
