Great to meet you!

Many clients appreciate my authenticity and sense of humor. Clients also frequently comment that they find my problem solving skills helpful. We can work together to develop a plan for solving the situation you may be facing right now. We will develop a safe and productive environment to explore the reasons and relationships that brought you to counseling. We will develop healthy coping skills and better ways to deal with your stressors.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach treatment from a trauma-informed perspective. This means that many of our behavioral, physical, social, and spiritual problems are the result of trauma. Among my clients, I have found trauma, such as neglect, emotional, physical, and sexual trauma, or grief, very common.

What you can expect from our first session

My focus for each session to find what is important for my clients and helping them find motivation to take the manageable steps to meet their goals.
