Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with 25 years experience, I've worked across all levels of care-from direct practice to leadership roles over the past 15 years, including supervising experienced therapists. My approach is rooted in empathy and non-judgment, recognizing that every individual carries a unique story shaped by life's challenges.

As a lifelong sports fan, former player, and coach, I believe the principles of teamwork, accountability, and encouragement are just as powerful in therapy as they are on the field. My goal is to create a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and challenged to move toward meaningful change- at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, grounded in the proven principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and in recent years, I've infused my practice with the spiritual teachings of Eckhart Tolle- an approach many clients have found transformative. I help clients build insight, resilience, and practical coping strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

What sets my practice apart is the life experience I bring to my work. Growing up with five brothers and raising an adult daughter has shaped my ability to connect with people authentically-balancing empathy with honesty, humor, and perspective. I understand that life rarely unfolds as planned, and often, growth begins in the moments we feel most stuck.

What you can expect from me

Before we begin, I'll take a moment to briefly introduce myself- then the focus shifts entirely to you. I want to understand what's brought you to treatment and what you hope to gain from it.

Clients can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where their goals, experiences, and needs guide the process. My priority is to listen deeply, meet you where you are, and work collaboratively to support meaningful progress- on your terms, at your pace, and with comfort and safety.
