Great to meet you!

There is a particular kind of exhaustion in working hard on your mental health and still not feeling like yourself. The anxiety keeps firing. The low mood settles

in. The same patterns repeat no matter what you try. I am Chris, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, working with adults who are tired of just managing and ready to change. For over a decade I have helped people understand what runs those patterns and how to interrupt them. Mindfulness is at the center of my work: not a habit to add to a full plate, but a way of slowing things down enough to choose something different.

My approach to therapy

Therapy works best when it fits you, not a template. I work from an integrative foundation, drawing on psychodynamic exploration, cognitive behavioral approaches, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and somatic awareness. Which of these shows up depends on what you need. Some clients find it useful to trace where a pattern started. Others want practical tools right now. Often both. I follow your lead on what feels most useful and adjust as we go. The one constant is that you stay in control of the direction.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want to hear from you. No script, no pressure to have it figured out. I will ask a few questions to understand what you are carrying and what you most want to change. From there we will build a path forward together. Most clients leave that first conversation feeling lighter, just from having said things out loud to someone paying full attention.
