Dr. Christopher Hong

Dr. Christopher Hong is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside. He has an evidence-based and holistic approach to treatment and aims to individualize each patient's treatment to their specific needs. Dr. Hong completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed his child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Southern California.

Hello, unfortunately I no longer accept insurance for individuals under 18 years of age. I can provide a superbill, and you can submit this to your insurance, but it will be ultimately the patient's financial responsibility to cover the costs of the sessions.

I carefully take into consideration all factors of a person's care, which include biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I also employ multiple modalities in treatment, which include traditional prescription medication, natural remedies, exercise, diet, and multiple forms of psychotherapy. I tailor all of these treatments to fit a particular person's needs.

My main concern in treatment is restoration of functioning in school, work, and relationships. I aim to provide a receptive, warm environment for clients to feel comfortable to further strengthen our therapeutic relationship.
