Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel intimidating—but you don’t have to figure things out alone.

I’m Chris, a licensed MFT, and I help people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break, or unsure how to cope with intense emotions.

My style is down-to-earth, honest, and supportive. I use approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to help you better understand yourself and build tools that actually work in real life. I also have experience in all levels of care including residential and IOP, so I understand both the challenges of recovery and what it takes to maintain it long-term.

In our work together, you can expect a space where you’re not judged—but gently challenged when needed. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also helping them build insight into the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to support emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and promote lasting change. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also gently challenging clients when needed to help them grow.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your current concerns, background, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

We’ll also begin to identify initial goals and talk about what therapy might look like moving forward. Most importantly, this session is an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if I’m the right fit for you.
