Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating health challenges, life transitions, and periods when life feels harder than it used to. As a clinical health psychologist, I have particular experience helping people adjust to chronic illness and changes in health, along with specialized clinical and research expertise in Parkinson’s disease.

I also work with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and sleep difficulties. Whether you’re adjusting to a major change, feeling overwhelmed by worry or low motivation, or finding yourself stuck in patterns that no longer seem helpful, I aim to provide a thoughtful, nonjudgmental space where we can understand what’s getting in the way and find practical ways forward.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should be a place to both feel understood and create change. My approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). We’ll work together to understand what is contributing to your concerns, identify goals, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. I also draw from mindfulness-based approaches when helpful.

I want therapy to be a place where you can process what you’re experiencing while also building skills and making meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance to slow down, talk through what has been going on, and start figuring out what would be most helpful. I’ll ask about your current concerns, what has brought you to therapy, and what you would like to be different. Together, we’ll identify goals and come up with a plan to help get you a little closer to the life you want.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. Some people come to therapy knowing exactly what they want to work on, and others simply know that something isn't working and want help making sense of it. Whenever you're ready, reach out for a consultation and we'll start with a conversation.
