Great to meet you!

I have worked in the addiction treatment field for over nine years, supporting individuals across all levels of care. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with people at many different points in their recovery journey—from those taking their first steps toward change to those working to maintain long-term recovery.

Over the years, I’ve learned that there is no single path to recovery and no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change, even during times when hope feels distant. Recovery is a process—it's about taking meaningful steps forward, learning from setbacks, and building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate that process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in both empathy and accountability. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely supported while also being challenged to examine behaviors, take responsibility for their lives, and move toward their goals. I will meet you with compassion and understanding, while encouraging honest self-reflection and growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to counseling. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you would like to change, and what you hope to get out of counseling.

I’ll also explain how I approach counseling and answer any questions you may have. There’s no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly what you need. We’ll work together to figure that out.

Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I believe counseling should be a space where you can be honest about where you are while feeling supported in moving toward where you want to be.
