Great to meet you!

Hello there, my name is Chris. I am currently an outpatient clinician, licensed in Connecticut with nearly ten years’ experience working as a therapist/mental health professional across a variety of clinical settings including intensive in-home, intensive outpatient, community school-based services, psychiatric residential, as well as clinical supervision.

My approach to therapy

I believe that a strong therapeutic connection is essential to feeling comfortable and getting the most out of your sessions. It is for this reason that I am a strong believer in client-centered therapy and ideally, our sessions will look much like a conversation, with me guiding and supporting, but ultimately, change must come from within without me telling you what to do.

What you can expect from me

Initially, our sessions will be focused on building rapport so that we can get to know each other more. Within this, I will listen, validate, and strive to fully understand what brings you to therapy. I will never tell what to do or what I think you should do, but rather support and guide you to help you come to your own realizations. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan and outline your goals, action steps, and ways to achieve them with an underlying supportive connection.
