Dr. Christopher Shewbarran is a graduate of the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area, where he completed a Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) specialized in Clinical Psychology. He has had the privilege and opportunity to work with many diverse populations throughout his career thus far, including children, adolescents, and adults in individual, group, and family therapy settings, experiencing various symptoms and stressors.

My approach to therapy

While his therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and exposure therapy, Dr. Shewbarran is open to utilizing many different therapeutic practices, approaches, and techniques that may be beneficial to the clients and families he works with and serves.

Clients and families may expect to gain knowledge, insight, and awareness into factors that have previously and are currently affecting and influencing their stress and mental health symptoms.
